We will be watching and then discussing an episode of TVO’s The Agenda on the topic of Canadian Black History. This episode features Afua Cooper, principal investigator of A Black People’s History of Canada, a project out of Dalhousie University; Cheryl Thompson, Associate Professor, The Creative School, TMU; and Rochelle Bush, proprietor and primary guide of Tubman Tours Canada. Toronto Oasis Organizer Tania Akon will provide an introduction to the topic and suggested discussion questions.
