Toronto will be one of the cities hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup starting this June. We will be watching and then discussing part of a video about the social costs. Dr. Helen Jefferson Lenskyj selected and will provide an introduction to the topic & video.
Helen is a retired professor of sociology at the University of Toronto, and Oasis participant. She is currently completing her 14th book on sport, titled ‘Censorship, Politics and Sport’.
